Women in Jazz Benefit Concert
September 18th, 2010 - 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. - Seattle Drum School L.A.B.
The charismatic duo of Kristin Korb (singer/bassist) and Pamela York (singer/pianist/composer) perform two sets of great jazz at the renowned Seattle Drum School L.A.B. Tickets will be sold for $20 at the door. The Seattle Drum School is located at 12510 15th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98125.

Casino Night
November 13th, 2010 - 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. - University Christian Church
November 13 is the date of our 4th annual Casino Night. It will be held at University Christian Church (same location as in the past) from 7 to 10:30 pm. A great evening of casino-style gaming, wonderful food and libations - as well as a selection of silent auction item make this a fun, must-attend event for a great cause!

Used Book Sale
July 23-24th, 2010 - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Hunter Tree Farm Lot
This event is set for July 23 and 24 on the Hunter Tree Farm lot at 7724 35th Avenue NE, just north of the Post Office. Hours are 9am to 4 pm. Donations of recently published books, cook books, and gardening books are most welcome and can be brought to our Day/Drop-in Center at University Lutheran Church. Do come and shop for great books for summer reading - and help fund our EGH program!

Plant and Yard Art Sale
June 5th, 2010 - Lake City Presbyterian Church
This fundraiser was hosted by Lake City Presbyterian Church on June 5. This event gave us the opportunity to display EGH materials and sell Lois Moe's floral note cards. We are one of the benevolences of their church women and are very grateful for their ongoing donations of laundry soap, toiletry kits and monetary gifts.

Blue Lagoon Night Club Cruise
June 4th, 2010 - 8:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. - The Islander, Lake Union
This fundraiser was completely underwriten by several individual donors. The stormy Friday evening did not attract as many guests as we would have liked to have. But as always, the event was lot of fun. We rented the 72 feel multi-level yatch from Champagne cruises. We danced to the music by DJ Ronnie Paul and all proceeds from the door price ($20 each) went directly to benefit EGH.

University District Street Scramble
April 25th, 2010 - 9:30 a.m. - University District
Thirty checkpoints are marked on a map of Seattle's University District. On foot or bicycle, visit as many as you can in 90 minutes or 3 hours. By adding $10 to your registration fee, Meridian Geographics will donate $20 to EGH. Register by mail, online, or at the event. Starting point is the University Heights Cente, 5031 University Way NE.

Homeful Choral Concert
April 26th, 2010 - 7:30 p.m. - University Congregational United Church of Christ
The University of Washington Women's Choir and University Congregational United Church of Christ working with Elizabeth Gregory Home present a concert that highlights issues and themes related to moving from homeless to homeful. Hear 100+ voices raised in song to support women working to find home. Admission is free. There will be a free-will donation during the concert, and all proceeds will benefit Elizabeth Gregory Home.

Costume Cruise Party

EGH Walk to End Homelessness

Walk begins at 9 a.m. at the old Aqua Theater. Print out the brochure to record your donations, and bring that to the walk. Preregistration is not necessary.

Harvest Dinner

Owners John and Amy Fair-Gunnar will host a delightful meal at a fixed price of $30 per plate. All proceeds will be donated to Elizabeth Gregory Home. Seattle Storm Basketball Game

Book Sale
July 24-25, 2009 - 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. - Hunter Farm's Lot
The EGH book sale proved to be a success for EGH as well as our Seattle neighbors. There was a selection of hundreds of books in a variety of genres -- something for everyone.

Thanks go out to the many who made this possible including Hunter Tree Farm for the use of the property; the numerous donors of books; the many volunteers who helped sort and categorize, load and unload books, set up and take down tables; and the wonderful community members who purchased books, asked for more information about Elizabeth Gregory Home, and made large and small additional donations.

Third Annual Benefit Dinner

The Third Annual Benefit Dinner included a gourmet dinner preceded by wine and hors d'oeuvre. Raffle tickets were sold at the event for great prizes, and guests heard from graduates of EGH.

Book Fair at Barnes & Noble

Visitors purchased books, music, or food and beverages in the cafe, and a percentage of the sale was donated by the store to EGH.

Beatles Mania Sing-A-Long

University Lutheran Church hosted a Beatles sing-a-long as a fundraiser for Elizabeth Gregory Home. For $5.00, the price of a ticket in 1964, guests sang the music of the most storied rock band ever!
